We have a new Reggae artist to introduce to
the network, and we're sure you're going to
endorse the vibes!
Empress Minott's introductory chune is
called "Nothing Can Compare" and shares
her blessing of where she was born, Portland,
Jamaica, and all of its natural beauty such as
the water, the mountains, mango, guinep, apple
and jelly water. Empress's energy as she sings
of the beauty of her land is infectious, and makes
any listener want to visit Portland!
Performed to bass line driven one drop riddim,
Empress Minott is genuine as she recalls how
living was back in the days delivering the punch
line that 'nothing can compare.' She also says
"everybody nice when ajax turn on..." Kaboom!
Currently, Empress travels between Portland
and Toronto. She works with several producers
in Jamaica, and will be featured on upcoming
riddim compilations.
