Natasha Von Castle Joins Vyzion Radio for Broadcasts to Soldiers At War!

L3 Group of Companies Natasha Von Castle joins Vyzion Radio and their elite roster of DJ’s, broadcasting every Saturday from 9pm to 11pm Eastern Standard Time to Soldiers At War and stationed abroad.

Founded by US Army Veterans Eric Bostic and Greg Bailey from North Carolina, the goal of Vyzion Radio (pronounced ‘vision’) is to keep the moral and welfare of all soldiers high and in good spirits.  Broadcasting in 2,200 cities around the world, the station reaches troops in all major areas and is one of the most listened to networks in the military.

Program Director, DJ TY aka Mr. Hip Hop NC, recognized the importance of diversity saying “this can be the back bone and corner stone of the US Military and America,” which opened the station to other genres in addition to R&B, Hip Hop, Dance and Soul.

Natasha, whose show is co-produced by industry veteran Tre Carn, joins the team as one of two DJ’s who presents Reggae and Dancehall.  Her addition has been welcomed by her fellow roster of DJ’s who appreciate her title ‘Canada’s Music Queen!’  Both Eric and Greg say “we are really happy to have Natasha on board.  Her playing style is exactly what our Soldiers need to get them through their days and nights.  She’s diverse and different and we like that!”

Natasha’s first broadcast airs Saturday March 3rd from 9pm to 11pm Eastern Standard Time and can be heard at www.vyzionradio.com.  Natasha adds, “I like playing Reggae and Dancehall, but knowing me, every once in a while I’ll drop in an element of surprise!  I am honored to be able to play for the troops; we’re going to have so much fun every Saturday!”

a touch of Jazz, Hip Hop or even R&B in the mix!  I love all genres of music and that will come through when I play!”

Ammoye Turns the “Radio” On!

Ammoye, one of Canada’s most prominent Reggae songstresses, has turned “Radio” on with her hot new single of the same name!

Produced by award winning Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor, and as part of the Club Dance Riddim line up, Ammoye’s single has been met with consistent support from DJ’s in the UK, Italy, the US, across the Caribbean, and her home country, Canada.

Savouring the silk in Ammoye’s voice, UK audiences have made the song one of the most requested, Italian listeners request the song weekly, as have Caribbean fans.  Building momentum in the US, “Radio” has been added to rotation on Tony Carr’s ‘This is Reggae Music’ on WPFW FM in Washington DC.  Boston’s Vibe 105.3 FM’s Jermaine Lawrence says the song “is one of his favourite songs on the riddim,” while Toronto’s King Turbo sound crew, hosts of ‘Morning Ride’ on 89.5 CIUT FM says “Ammoye definitely put the word ‘Love’ in Lover’s Rock with this chune!”

While the song enjoys positive feedback from fans and DJ’s alike, Ammoye prepares for an intense summer that includes performances for fans in Canada, the US and Europe.

About Ammoye:

Named after the Italian word for Love, Ammoye is to music what the stars are to the sky – beautiful.  The smoothness of her voice draws listeners in, and the power of her lyrics holds them as she effortlessly sings about Life, Love, and justice.

Ammoye has recorded with Fireball Records in Jamaica (headed by Conrad ‘Suga Roy’ Moore and Chris Hunt), Chiney K Productions in Jamaica (headed by Paul Lowe-Chin), Dubmatix from Toronto, Subsonic from Montreal, Rise Ashen from Winnipeg as well as production companies from England and Germany.

Madd Spider Productions Puts Fans in “Hot Water!”

Madd Spider Productions puts Dancehall fans in “Hot Water” with their latest riddim release!

If DJ and fan feedback is any indication of the popularity and longevity, Madd Spider Productions can rest assured that all interested parties are happy to be in ‘Hot Water!’

Released February 28th, 2012 on the Madd Spider Productions label, two thirds of the Dancehall Trinity (Froggy Madd Squad (Jermaine Omari Lawrence) and Taranchyla from Poison Dart Sound), have scored a hit as DJ’s in the UK, Jamaica, Canada and Germany collectively agree that the riddim gives radio and Dancehall the energy fans have come to expect from the production house.

Working with their successful formula of taking music back to an authentic Dancehall beat, fans have 48 minutes of quality production to enhance their iPod, iPad, iPhone, Blackberry and radio time!  When creating the riddim, the trio agreed they wanted it to be one that will be heard in the winter and summer without pause.  “We come from an era in music where riddims never lost their magic” said Taranchyla from the Madd Spider recording studios in Orlando, “and our aim is to continue that tradition of magic for the fans!”

Sixteen artists bless the riddim who collectively take fans on a journey that includes the anatomy of a hot girl, the foolish ways of foolish men, what it is to be a World General and everything else in between.  Award winning writer Wayne Wonder thrills fans with throwback flavoured lyrics delivered in his song “Anuh Lie” which includes an appearance from his alter ego ‘Supriz.’  Veteran Macka Diamond offers the view that looks, age, nor status will keep a man, while ZJ Liquid lets the world know what excites him about his lady.

In addition to being producers, Froggy builds on his growing artistic catalog with “Fake Friends,” Taranchyla’s alter ego, the Gangster Chipmunk is front and centre with “Gal Fool,” while Grammy award winning Delly Ranx explains the benefits of being a World General with “Haffi Get A Gyal.”
