Alliance Next Generation Artist Profile: Fuze

Dancehall artist Fuze is one of the newer and junior members of the Alliance Next Generation (ANG) camp, but packs a mean lyrical punch that can't be denied!

Performing lyrics that are based on events past and present in his life, Fuze gives his fans consistent doses of reality; whether the meanness of the streets, the importance of family, or balancing a girlfriend with career needs, Fuze is know for speaking lyrical truth.

Holding it all together – Dancehall’s Fuze!

Dancehall is a music genre that deals with parties, sex and social commentary.  The fuse that holds all topics together while keeping us entertained is none other than Dancehall artist Fuze.

Born Ricardo Lopez and hailing from St. Ann, Jamaica, Fuze’s brand of Dancehall ranges in topic from encouragement to the youth, to holding a firm meditation, to events that transpire when he is around the ladies, and the ladies are around him!

Fuze’s artistic career began at High School where, encouraged by his peers, he participated in a concert held by the school which was met with such enthusiasm by his fellow classmates, Fuze knew that entertainment is where he belonged. Using High School as a stepping stone, Fuze went on to record professionally for Courtney McIntosh and the In Touch record label with a chune called “We Love All Girls.”  The song received good feedback and good support which led to the artist recording for Chezidek’s Chalace Palace label.

Developing his onstage personal, Fuze has performed at the St. Ann Kite Festival, The Rising Son Concert series, Full Clip Reloaded, Miss Seville Height (1998-2008) and several other shows.

Fuze has also received steady success on the radio circuit as his music has been played locally on Irie FM, and internationally on Canadian, UK, Italian, Australian, German and Gambian radio.

Bounty Killer recently named Fuze as a part of the Alliance Next Generation which sees the artist increasing his profile online in the next few months!

♠ HOTTT New Dancehall! ♠ Fuze - Cornerstone!

The children are our future and need to be understood and worked with so that they can achieve and manifest their natural gifts.  Not all kids will be in the NFL / NBA / MLB.  Not all kids will play for the English Premier League, nor will all children be doctors or lawyers.  Some children are born to perform and entertain.

Produced by Chalice Palace, Fuze gives us a solid reasoning when he sings:

To all the parents of the world / never underestimate
your children / you never know / what they'll grow
to be / but you'll see...

This is the kind of song that can be played in a Dancehall segment just as easily as it can be
played in a Dancehall segment.  Whether radio or mixtape, this is a 'must add!'  It speaks to what many children go through when parents don't understand or choose not to understand.
This chune speaks for us!
Click on the link for the song!

♠ HOTTT New Dancehall! ♠ Charly Black ft. Fuze - Baby Storm!

When we first heard from Dancehall artist Fuze (@fuzeatdem1), it was because of his Dancehall banger "Fly Pass Dem."  In that chune, the artist made it clear:  we don't have time to even think about the bad mind - we ah fly pass dem!

Today, Fuze has teamed with Dancehall soldier Charly Black and Drop The Bass Records for a new chune called "Baby Storm" which is another banger and especially worded for fans who can see a 'baby storm' coming, and laugh in advance!

Once again, the theme of the chune is so universal, it applies to all people who are being 'hated' on.  From the office space to the street space, we all go through the hater-aid.  Pree Fuze's lyrics:

"We nuh inna no talking / no skylarking / from dem
diss / dih dogs dem barking / ride pon a bicycle while
dem walking / page dem / as dem dun throw offering /
tell dem / watch what dem starting / when dih storm
rise / ah dih whole place parting / dem deh pon tar /
police ah white chalking ..."

Wowow!

For the Dancehall appreciating masses, this chune connects. It's only people's 'yap yap yap'  that's heard when a 'baby storm' passing through town.  With a real soldier, it's just scenery!

Click on the link below to preview the chune!

♠ HOTTT New Dancehall! ♠ Fuze - Fly Pass Dem!

Thanks to Twitter, we had the opportunity to meet an up and coming Dancehall artist that girls say is as HOTTT as the sun!  He goes by the name Fuze, and he makes his debut via
his new chune "Fly Pass Dem!"

We hear lyrics about 'haters' all the time, but Fuze decides to go a different route by focusing
on going past the haters without focusing on the word 'haters' when he DJ's:

"Caan stop mih eye dem from open ah mawnin
time / when dem ah playa hate me tell dem all is
fine / yuh see dah phone ya / ah only real people
can call this line / ah nuff ah dem jealous an corrupt
an nuff ah dem bad mind ...."

Believe us, you will be calling for the 'puuuuuuuuuuuul up' on this chune as it connects
on every level.  Fuze even comments on the fact that our swag ah 'tun up' and we 'nuh listen to dihmouth when it run up.'  Bap Bap Bap!

Tweet with Fuze by joining him on Twitter @Fuzeatdem1!
