It’s not every day Canada’s leading Caribbean-Urban Magazine
has an opportunity to speak to one of Reggaeton’s Kings, however, April is the
month they got to do just that!
L3 Magazine traveled to Puerto Rico to speak to the musical
giant who is loved in his country and supported not only by fans and friends,
but by corporate interests as well.
Despite selling millions of singles and albums, Baby Ranks is down to earth and a true gentleman! How much so, our interview shares all!
This was our first interview done with an interpreter as
Baby Ranks speaks little English, and we speak little Spanish! We had fun!
Tricia Spence sat down with Protoje just before leaving for SXSW, and the artist can only be
described as Imagination in Motion!
Johnny Wonder is
sometimes considered difficult because of his outspoken views, and his
fearless-ness to share those views. We
sat down with him and have an immense respect for him, and the industry he
created via music distribution. Forget
what you’ve heard from others, Mr. Wonder speaks for himself in L3!
Jah Bami began
his music career in Trinidad as a teen, and now has impacted the world! Learn more about him as an artist and a
person in our pages. As well, Heike
Wollenweber helps Chrisinti explain
why he’s been away from music for as long as he has!
Featured artists include Alfonnso, Khalila Rose, Zebulun ,
Musik Maestro, Mark Lyttle and more. Farrah
Burns has released her album ‘In Pursuit of Hip Hop – An Anthology’ which is
really good! How good?! We give you our rating as well as new
releases from Sizzla, Buju Banton and The Tweet Riddim.
Our charts are more expansive with Natasha Thomas on board
who gives us news on what’s hot across the Caribbean in addition to Rico Vibes
Top 10 Video Chart and L3’s Top Digital Downloads.
Ms. L3 April is Allyse,
who was beautifully photographed on the beach by Jerome Dupont from Neu Era Photography based in Florida! Speaking of beaches, we also feature the top
10 secluded beaches across the Caribbean.
All of this and more at www.L3Magazine.com!
The Welcome ‘Matte’
The team at L3 Magazine is pleased to announce Natasha Thomas to the fold as the
magazine’s Caribbean Charts Editor, and Niyah
