"Countdown 2 Gold" is a dual mega celebration. An
all day party, whose highlights include a countdown to Jamaica's GOLDEN 50th
Anniversary which takes place at midnight. Revelers will also share the comradery,
as Jamaica takes the gold in the 100m finals in the 2012 London Olympics. Live Olympic
coverage on jumbo T.V. screens all night long. With three of our athletes; Trelawny's son

medal is inevitable. Yes Jamaica, we are confident to bring home the GOLD.
At minutes to midnight, the party will pause as we begin the
official countdown. We will raise our country's flag and sing our national
anthem with pride. Attired in our black, gold and green, we'll proudly
celebrate our countries 50th year of independence. Two GOLDEN celebrations in one
historic night!
With music by a trio of legends, Killamanjaro, the people's
champion sound, Merritone Disco, Jamaica's premier vintage party sound, and
D.J. Cancer formerly a senior selector of the world renowned Stone Love sound,
Jamaicans and lovers of Jamaica will undoubtedly have a musical experience to
remember for decades.
Special invites include Mayor of Falmouth, Trelawny's
members of Parliament, business and private sector leaders, and distinguished
citizens. With the shimmering water of the scenic Martha Brae River, providing
the backdrop, The Water Wheel venue in Martha Brae, Trelawny, is the ultimate
location to provide the ambiance and enchantment for the "Countdown 2
Gold" celebration fest.
Simultaneously, these two events will surely send patrons
into a state of euphoria. Patrons leaving this event will take with them a
