One Burner for Noah Powa!

Noah Powa who is no stranger to controversial song topics has once again taken the bold step to sing a song that is far from the Jamaican cultural norm. The song "One Burner" is one which is glorifying Monogamy. The term 'One Burner' is a Jamaican slang in Patois which is used to refer to a man who is monogamous. This lifestyle is often frowned upon by Jamaican men. They tend to live polygamous lifestyles and flaunt and praise themselves as "Gallis" having many different women. In the song "One Burner" Noah vows that he will not cheat on his girlfriend despite the temptation of other beautiful women in the world. He also states that he is a proud member of the "One Burner Team" regardless of the typical Male lifestyle. The song is produced by Lmr Pro Productions and has a smooth reggae/cultural undertone. Today! Singing Melody Releases New Album!

VP Records Releases Singing Melody's
‘They Call Me Mr. Melody’ Today!

Just like the crescendo musicians give listeners at the height of a song, Singing Melody has built the same effect leading up to the release of his 6th studio album ‘They Call Me Mr. Melody’ which is available in stores and online today, Tuesday January 17th, 2012 through VP Records!

Beginning with his album launch at 'Plug n Play' (at the Wyndham Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica) on Friday January 13th, Singing Melody personally delivered audio of what fans can expect on his album.

With his star power shining brightly, Melody performed his hit lead single "Collide," and added "Time Wasted," his second single, as well as “Smile” featuring Dancehall veteran URoy.  Melody had all in the palm of his hands causing one journalist to note “based on the crowd response, his album should sell well!”  Media outlets from Jamaica, and the US such as Reuters, Billboard, Sunsplash Media and several others attended the launch including media from The Netherlands, Germany and Slovenia.

Throughout January and February, Melody will be on the road promoting the album which will include album signings in select cities in the US, the Caribbean and the UK.

‘They Call Me Mr. Melody’ is available online at www.VPReggae.com and all major digital retail outlets.  Additional information is available on Singing Melody’s site:  http://singingmelodymusic.com/international/theycallmemrmelody/.

Pressure - What Ya Gonna Do!

Nicko Rebel Music and Pressure Buss Pipe recently collaborated (and are still collaborating) in the studio recently, and the result is the song "What Ya Gonna Do."

The minute you play this chune, the heaviness of the bass will resonate in your chest, will resonate on the walls of the studio, will resonate on your listeners car stereo ... it will resonate! I think Nicko and Pressure did this on purpose as the resonation of the bass is the audio equivalent to the resonation of the message. Pree the lyrics:

"mashing up the place with some bad vibes / mashing up the earth with ya bad vibes ... what ya gonna do when Jah Jah come for you / wicked man we see your time is gonna done for you / what ya gonna do when Jah Jah come for you / rise up dih yute dem from dih slum for you ...."

We are living in an era where the eradication of negative thinking and negative actions is the focus, and this chune helps to reinforce that message. Both Nicko and Pressure are proud of this chune and are confident your listeners will appreciate it.

Nicko Rebel has been producing music for some years and has worked with several artists including Voicemail, Macka Diamond, Bescenta, Kali Blaxx and Shaka Pow to name a few. Based in Florida, Nicko's commitment is to quality music with authentic Reggae and Dancehall vibes.

♠ HOTTT New Dancehall! ♠ Jamballaz - No Talk!

Sometimes in life, you have to get rude and let people know that 'yuh nah tek no talk.'  Thanks to Jamballaz, we now have an anthem that helps us make this point!

Using  the winning formula of the Dancehall DJ lyrics combined with an American Rap hook, Jamballaz says:

We nuh take nuh talk from
nuh bwoy / so the street raise us / nothing don't
phase us / we nuh take no talk from ah bwoy ...
we from the West Indies / We burnin up dem
trees / dem eyes nuh ready dih least / welcome
the three headed beast..."

These lyrics can be taken at face value, or they can be taken as inspiration for athletes preparing to face an opponent at an upcoming game.

Either way you take it, Jamballaz has hit the mark with this song, and speaks for a generation of people who sometimes have to get talkative and let people know they're just not taking any talk!

Reggae Cover of an R&B Classic - Tonight!

Chiney K Productions and Star Player Music Group are pleased to share the release of the cover of the classic R&B song "Tonight."

Originally performed by Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson, the song is done Reggae style by Powerman who has added an addictive Dancehall flavour to the song by adapting the lyrics to include how some couples live in Jamaica.

Sample the lyrics:  "One cut ah butta an a pound
an she still nah run leff Powa / We nuh ave nuh
house / dat ah big an tall tike a towa / but we blessings
always ah showa / ah so we lovin juss ah bloom
like ah flowa / we work together all when pot fih
scowa / thank the most high every minute every
hour / caw good ooman hard fih discova ... "
After that, the chorus and punch line drops in being
"tonight / I celebrate my love for you ...".

The chune is absolutely fantastic, and one that both Chiney K Productions and Star Player Music Group feel will be a hit record.  Based on the vibes of the chune, we have to say we agree!  It drops right in time for Valentine's Day!

Pleasure Principles!

Greetings!

You've created a monster!  Week before last's
e-mail shared 5 tips to making a million dollars
which received incredible response.  Wowow!
It also came with a request for more e-mails like
it, so I'm going to try a ting!  For the newbies to
the list ... Lawd ... bear with me!

An article was written the other day which polled
women aged 20 to 60 asking what they like, and
or what they would like to receive pleasure wise.
Here are the top 5 things they had to say:

5.  Let's experiment.  These women like men
who want to experiment - try something different.

4.  Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!

3.  Candles, preferably scented, always establish
a mood and ambiance that is irresistible.

2.  Talk dirty!  Ladies love to be told naughty
somethings that only the two of you understand.

1.  Marathon man!  Women like it when men
make time for them which is exclusive i.e.
no interruptions.  One respondent said "He's
gotta go all night like a trucker!"

Greetings!

As I write and you read, Busy Signal is
gearing up for extensive travel!  He has
dates booked in the Caribbean and Europe,
and my crystal ball is telling me that this
spring will bring a few surprise visits to
a few surprise places, much to the delight
of fans and promoters!

In terms of Busy’s music, the DJ’s are telling
me ‘dih chunes dem gone,’ and so is mediafire.com.
To date, Busy has over 4,000 downloads
for “Food Fih Dih Pot” on the Duck Dance
Riddim re-released by Donovan Germaine
for Penthouse Records.  So what's next you
ask?!  Remixes!

We kick off the Busy remix session with the
chune “One More Night” on the Far East
riddim.  This is rub-a-dub at its best, and filled
with vibes!  We also have “Night Shift” on
the Fade Away riddim, and if that’s not enough,
Richie Blindz put Busy Signal and Rihanna
together on a “Rude Boy” remix.  Lawd – dih
